Jen has worked with me as my Performance Development Coach since I joined the programme and is a huge credit to Police Now. She has always expressed a great interest in each of my rotations and my journey in force and has always been there to support me through the process. She has encouraged and supported me not only from an operational point of view – talking through nature of the programme; university; what’s coming up next and deadlines etc – but she has truly made a huge difference to me in respect of understanding myself, my communication style, leadership style and that extends to not only in a professional context but in a personal one as well.

I feel Jen has been one of my biggest supporters during this 2-year programme and I can always count on her to put a smile on my face, she’s a fantastic character and in my opinion a genuinely caring person – everything you’d hope for from a coach!

I have always spoken very highly of the programme I am on, but a huge part of that is the support network that in particular Jen has offered. Whenever we our sessions she seems always so genuinely happy when I tell her I’ve completed my portfolio or I’ve got a charge on a case I’ve been working on or been offered a course in an area I’ve always wanted to specialise in.

For me, Jen’s role has stretched far beyond the PDP (Coaching) calls, she has continuously offered her time; offered additional calls and will always go out of her way to ensure she can do what she can to answer questions and help guide me on this process. I am so pleased I’ve had Jen by my side throughout this journey – a true asset to Police Now.
